The girl had always wanted to check out Japanese Garden, which is just situated next to Chinese Garden but somehow, the place is just too far away from her home. This time round, we made sure that we should really head on down to take a look since we had something on in the west area too latter in the day. Kudos to the poor girl, who had to wake up early and made the trip down. Not only that, she was wearing a pair of new shoes which saw her limping with blisters on the back of her ankle area. Hai... =(

Nevertheless, we still managed to finish"exploring" the Garden and it was really a nice place for photo-takings too. Maybe, we can do a shoot there next time. Right girl? =D

Every year, me and my group of buddies would usually 'gather' for our our annual big meet up. No doubt, this year would be still be the same even though there's an additional "member" to the group. Haa. This year's meet up was a bit late, but surprisingly everyone tried to turn up for it. Cheers to the organizer, which is me!! Haha. =) Going through the net on the nice places that serves good food, I came across Mint Cafe, a toy museum integrated with a cafe selling food on the basement level. Cool concept, I would say, with the ambience and lightings that looks just like a concept restaurant. And that the food was quite good!

My order, Crabmeat Spaghetti with cheese something...

The whole session saw us gubbling down our food, as we were really hungry! At the same time saw us chit chatting non-stop on our recent activities and plans for the upcoming. After which, we wrapped things up and proceed to our usual TC session at a nearby coffee cafe. Before we do that, it's cam-whoring time!! =P

Me and the Jims

Not forgetting the usual group photo

And me with Popeye the Sailor Man, Tu.. Tu..

See you guys soon yea... Guys power!! Haha...

This year see myself spending the eve of Christmas with my girl, instead of my group of buddies. Different, yet nice time spent. And a rainy one too... Met up with her after I knocked off "half day" from work. We went to Bugis to chill out and to feel the Christmas mood with the shoppers. Walking in circles around the area, we chanced upon a lovely spot and started to cam whore again! It been some time since we took picture of ourselves, due to our busy festive shopping schedules.

All smiles, geared up for Xmas.

Overall, it was nice feeling to spend the eve with the girl. Except for our dinner, where unforeseen bad experiences happened at the cafe. And guys, we'll meet up soon for a post Christmas dinner yea! And Merry Christmas to you girl... Hope you enjoyed the night. =)

Sing along with me

For Christmas is here with me

Singing and smiling till the dawn

Joy and laughter are there all along

Christmas carols are the songs

Wishes and blessings will be all day long

Chimneys always huff and puff

With Santa coming to give you stuff

Wishing upon a passing smurf

Stopping by to say Merry Christmas…

It was my first time attending a Christmas Party and my first one at my current bank too. Missed out last year's one so this year, I should attend and see how it is like. (With the prizes attracting me to attend though) I would say it was quite special to have it in our office though as there were just tables, chairs and computers which we were facing 5 days a week! Nevertheless, the committee members had it all planned out with buffet dinner, games and lucky draw. Everyone were famished, dying to start the dinner. Can tell from all their hungry faces. Haha. As usual, this year, the lucky draw consists of two prizes for the best dressed male and female staff. Knowing that, my team of ladies made an effort to really dressed themselves up and go all out to win the prize.

Look! A team of starry angels. =)

Even I, myself was not spared by my boss, who insists on dressing me up too.

Me, with the angels...

And so, most would have guessed it. I won the Best Dressed Male award and the others won the Best Female Dressed award!! Wahaha. Woo.... =P Never did I expect it.

Presents from my colleagues.

It a was night of fun and enjoyment for everybody. Hopefully, there could be more of such events in the coming. =)

Wanted to get a gift for the girl as a Christmas present. But due to my busy schedule and not to mention the kind of trouble in going through the process in choosing a gift for a lady, I was "forced" to be able to make my way down for shopping this night. Luckily, I 'met' my colleague, Eunice, there to give me ideas and critics on the present I'm gonna get. Time was really short as the shops would be closing pretty soon due to my late knock off timing. We hurried down to the shop where I already have an idea on the item I'm gonna get. And yet, we spent like an hour plus there and were the last customers to leave the shop. Thankfully, I got what I wanted and made our way for supper at MacDonald, which we were supposed to have as dinner and most of the restaurants or food court were already closed. I think she must be famished. But then, she could still crap! Haha. (Kind of her to endure with me till supper time)

And once again, appreciated her effort and endurance in giving me ideas. =)

After so many years which I kept saying that I wanted to join the Standard Chartered Marathon Run but to no avail; this year I finally did it.

My running kit (Without the medal though)

Although it's not the full marathon, I was still happy after the run. The feeling was great, as I finally managed to complete a long overdue wish. It was not easy for myself as I had never covered such distance in my life!! A sense of accomplishment! =D Throughout the run, I felt good. It was towards the finishing line where I had to drag myself to reach the finishing line as my knees were giving way... Thanks to my running kaki, Xiangde who encouraged me to finish the race. The girl was also there to support me, which I was really touched. Although she did not managed to see me crossed the finishing line. Her presence there to wait for me at the finishing line was enough to give me encouragement, wanting to see her at the spectator point. =)

Me in action =)

The finishers' medal

A big smile on the face with Teck after the run

Hopefully, next year I'll be able to challenge myself to the full marathon with the girl running with me in the event. Not the 42km for her though. Haa. =)
