Being a cheese lover, I've always wanted to try different kinds of cheesecake. Not long ago, I actually found out that the girl has the recipe and that she has made a cheesecake before! Not to mention she has promised to make me one but have yet to for a long time!

So over the weekend, I popped by the girl's place in the early morning and prepared our ingredients in making cake. (Edible cake please) I was so excited on getting started since it's been quite some time I have tasted one and that now, I got the chance to make one myself with the girl! =D I was prancing around in the kitchen and the girl could see that I'm all hyped up. Ahaha...
So first up was making the base. Being a guy, I offered my service in pounding the biscuits into powder form using bare hands! (Clap clap) It was nothing... Haha. While i was 'contributing' my strength, the girl start to prepare other stuff in making the cake. Finally, after battling with the electric mixer for like an hour, we managed to form the cake portion for the base.
The girl was so worried that it wouldn't turn out nice since it has been some time she last made a cake. Surprisingly, it turned out to be pretty good, only that the base was a bit too thick. Nevertheless, I was so proud of her and myself... (hee) that our combined effort turned out pretty good. I had so much fun stepping into the kitchen with her and that for sure, we will try other food making session next time. I can't blame her for helping me to put on weight right? =P

That's me and the girl forming the top layers of the cake.
(Look at me with the fully focused look. Just like a great chef. Haa...)

After so many years which I kept saying that I wanted to join the Standard Chartered Marathon Run but to no avail; this year I finally did it.
Hopefully, next year I'll be able to challenge myself to the full marathon with the girl running with me in the event. Not the 42km for her though. Haa. =)
My running kit (Without the medal though)
Although it's not the full marathon, I was still happy after the run. The feeling was great, as I finally managed to complete a long overdue wish. It was not easy for myself as I had never covered such distance in my life!! A sense of accomplishment! =D Throughout the run, I felt good. It was towards the finishing line where I had to drag myself to reach the finishing line as my knees were giving way... Thanks to my running kaki, Xiangde who encouraged me to finish the race. The girl was also there to support me, which I was really touched. Although she did not managed to see me crossed the finishing line. Her presence there to wait for me at the finishing line was enough to give me encouragement, wanting to see her at the spectator point. =)Hopefully, next year I'll be able to challenge myself to the full marathon with the girl running with me in the event. It was TGIF and the girl had cordially invited me to Zirca, a new mega club house in Cannery Road. Knowing that she had wanted to check out that place for a very long time, i obliged to company her. Although we did not really enjoyed the music, which is not to our taste, we did enjoyed our fair share of drinks. Haha. =)

I've never experienced making a mooncake in my life, not to mention having to try my end product!! Never did I know that mooncake making can be so much fun!! Haha.. =) Credits to Geri who bought all the ingredients and having to bring it all the way to the west. She even attended a mooncake making course last year to teach her patients and me!!
When it comes to making the dough, I was absolutely thrilled... It was so much fun having to play around with the sticky dough. Initially, the colour wasn't really well mixed. The colour was dull and whitish. Somehow, we managed to get it done in a more presentable way. Tadah..... Pink mooncakes!!
