Look!! Look!! I was here at the Airforce Open House 08 at Payah Lebar Air Base (PLAB) on the 31 Aug. Thank goodness it wasn't as packed as the Air Show held at the Changi Exhibition Centre earlier this year. It was an early morning trip down, where I had to head all the way to meet Geri in Hougang for an early breakfast before taking the shuttle service to PLAB. How I wish that they would consider providing the shuttle service for residents living in the West!! Many must be wondering why I am still attending Army exhibitions or events when I'm already ORDed!! Haa... Obviously, it's not down to me though, but her..... (who has a craze with army uniforms) Overall, it was an enjoyable day where we spent almost the entire day there, although it did drizzled that afternoon.

Lady luck was really on our side that day, where we got a chance to sit in a C-130 plane and to take a sneak peek at the pilots' cockpit!!! It was really sheer luck, where we took part in a lucky draw contest in the dying seconds before the draw was closed. And surprisely, we are one of the pair of lucky winners!! Hahaha.... =)
