It was my second consecutive year making my way down to Chinese Garden for the Lantern Festival. This year was pretty different. Firstly, the theme was Hello Kitty. Gosh... Guess the plan of the organizing committee was to attract more kids. As such, parents would have to tag along too. Secondly, I was going down with a different person this year. Feeling was totally different and I truly enjoyed every moment of it. =) Thirdly, I must really that we were quite lucky! Geri and I actually made our way down on the 6th Sep, only to be greeted by dark clouds along the way. We were hesitating on whether to enter since we had already bought the tickets. And with Kelvin and Ailian waiting for us inside, more kinda prompted us to join them. However, when it started to drizzled, we just made up our mind and headed back. All I could say was a sorry to Kelvin and Ailian was sorry and it was the weather, not us!!
Therefore, we decided to go back on the 13th Sep, which was the eve of Mid Autumm Festival. We almost couldn't make it in time for the mini fireworks. The crowd was terrible, having to squeeze through a pack of ants. I would say the reflections on the calm water of the brighly litted exhibits were really beautiful. We were busily snapping the whole night.
Here are some of the pics taken. Picture intentsive!! =)

Love Birds =)
And as much as we did not have the chance to carry the traditional old-school lanterns (because we were busy holding our cameras), savour mouth-watering mooncakes or enjoy a moon-gazing session together (because we were busy taking pictures), at least the feeling of going there with her and the time spent with her walking around Chinese Garden was enjoyable and fun =)
